Close Quarter Battle: A Cadet's Challenge to Urban Warfare

Simulating real-life situations and events, Close Quarter Battle or CQB is designed to teach PNPA Cadets the fundamental tactics, techniques, and procedures to conduct team-level, structural-based, and dynamic close-quarter combat (2). This training challenged cadets to use different levels of tactical skills and strategy to successfully finish their mission, CQB ensures that the cadets are engaged in different situations necessary to handle in real scenarios.
That is to say, cadets are trained to be physically and psychologically capable of responding to rapidly changing situations on the ground and during training. In the current situation and challenges that our society faces, the matter of warfare is always evolving. Hence, the necessity to adapt to such changes through training such as this is a necessity.
This is why the prospect of having such training is very beneficial to cadets to give them basic knowhows on doing such operations. On, as police officers, they are the first responders to handle such situations. Especially given today's Political and Societal Issues with the rise of many terror groups in the nation.
Hence Close Quarter Battle offers a different level of competency and challenge to individuals partaking in such training. One such challenge is that of being on time in the implementation of your operation, this is because if someone has just been a second late might risk losing coordination and teamwork failing the operation in general. Such are the difficulties of CQB, for even the greatest shooters break a sweat on such training.

That is to say, CQB offers a lot of opportunities for Cadets to learn new tactics and strategies, especially in urban warfare situations. CQB can also help cadets in their future endeavors as public safety officers. CQB also offers training to mold and hone the comrade of individuals, the patience, perseverance, and determination of the cadets to prepare them into Public Safety Officers that can respond to any events and situations in the future.
